Forward Logistics & Inventory Warehousing Management

Telamon’s Telecom Product Services Division is your back-end logistics team. From customs clearance to daily/weekly/monthly cycle counting, Telamon manages the first leg of the product entrance: ensuring receipt, quantity and condition accuracy from your OEM or internal factory, and the on-going due diligence to ensure inventory accuracy. Telamon captures unique product identification details, and then receives it into our MRP system. Our MRP systems are linked to a Client Reporting Interface that is web-based and real-time. Inventory Management

Telamon’s Telecom Product Services Division understands technology. We understand that a product on our shelves does not just represent a quantity, a part/number, and a bin location. We know that in today’s fast pace of technology changes, your product may require configuration, software refreshes, complete component swap outs, etc. That is why Telamon’s Telecom Product Services Division has component and electronics engineers on staff to support version changes, and its effects on inventory keeping and tracking. Our systems are able to identify version changes via part number nomenclature, and ISO version control processes. Our people are able to execute the change to the product and design efficient change out processes for one-to-one as shipped or time sensitive lot updates.


Kitting & Fulfillment

From consultation on package design to delivery method, Telamon keeps your cost and end customer satisfaction at the forefront. Telamon’s Telecom Product Services Division’s experience varies from: one-to-one kitting with unique bill of materials, customized literature for each shipment, bulk quantity shipment with bill of material by product line, PO, channel, and/or seasonality. Our kitting lines are staged in one-to-one pick or as assembly line configurations. Our fulfillment centers are integrated with the top Carriers – shipping labels print directly from Telamon terminals and tracking numbers are updated real-time to Client Reporting Interfaces once Carriers have scanned barcodes for pick-up. It’s customized, integrated, visible, and on-time!

Reverse Logistics - RMA & Repair

Telamon’s Telecom Product Services Division reduces return rates. Based on warranty and product MSRP, Telamon employs three major types of returns: advanced replacement, return replacement, and repair. Each customer class is very sensitive to the type of return and the service provided when dealing with defective products, dead on arrivals, or usage issues. Telamon consults and helps build a world class returns management program for your brand and product in consideration of ongoing cost, time to satisfaction, and continuous customer relationship management. Telamon utilizes the Call Center Team in conjunction with the Reverse Logistics Team to ensure that the first line of defense: troubleshooting, product walk-through, and usage know-how, are maximized before physically sending in a product. The Reverse Logistics Team carefully tracks return rates by product line, component, and return reason. Product fixes and learned user errors are then transmitted back to our Call Center Team via controlled databases for future on the product dissemination. Telamon has drastically reduced return and repair rates for several well known OEMs and product brands.


Recycle & Waste Treatment

Telamon’s Telecom Product Services Division is focused on environmental and industry compliance! Component seeking and salvaging is one of our core services. Telamon works with HIPAA, OSHA and EPA standards in the treatment of electronic products and their waste. The resulting wastes and recyclables are netted out to several partner-vendors for recycle, destruction, and disposal as needed. Certificates of end treatment are provided to our Clients and a copy will be held on file at Telamon.
